In 2015, I retired from working as a safety manager for an environmental engineering company, which gives me more time to pursue social justice. I moved then from Northern NJ to Lower Township, NJ. It has beautiful beaches, but people struggle to pay their bills about eight months a year.
At my former church, I was an active Sunday school teacher. My favorite age is kindergarten, but I have taught youth from 2 to 15 years old. In my current church, I lead the new Economic Justice Study Group. I now volunteer with Cape Island Habitat Restoration Task Force, with the East Lynne Theater Company, with Cape Hope Cares, and as a volunteer tax preparer with the County’s RSVP Tax Aide Program. I worked as a volunteer in the peace movement since 1968.
My college degrees are in chemistry and environmental engineering. I have had professional certifications in environmental management, industrial hygiene and occupational safety
